This is my original RGB image, it has the most couples in it therefore it is the largest of all the files. This can have up to 16.7million colors in it.
This image only has two colors even though it seems like there is patches of gray it is still just pixels of black clustered together giving the illusion of gray. Due to its small amount of color the file size reduces drastically.
This is the index version of the original photo, it has 74 colors in it and has a very saturated red element to make the storage unit behind me stand out. The file size will depend on how many colors you decide to incorporate.

No, you have to specify what file type you want separate from the file name.
How many colors are in the following COLOR MODES?
RGB: 16.7 Million
INDEXED COLOR: 0-256

What happens to the (uncompressed) FILE SIZE as you change the COLOR MODES. discuss?
The file size will reduce according to the amount of colors you take out of it, therefore RGB is the largest you will find and bitmap is the smallest.
